Worship

The sharp dart of longing love

The anonymous author of the 14th century book 'The Cloud of Unknowing' calls us to reach out to God with the 'sharp dart of longing love'; our prayer for this conference is that we will, through passionate creative worship enter into the presence of God and have our eyes opened to His world and His wonders. Artists and musicians will join together to give expression to their love and devotion to God led by LoveBristol Worship Leader Matt Crossman. There will be sessions thoughout the day, with extended times of worship planned for the evening sessions.

Main teaching

4 main teaching sessions every day with Bill or Mark.

Quicken to life every power in me, that I may lay hold of eternal things - AW Tozer

Bill Johnson and Mark Stibbe will bring revelatory teaching on many areas of healing and the kingdom of God, as they continue to explore truths and lead us out of our comfort zones into the wild adventure of following God! There will be 4 main sessions each day of teaching and training for ministry, with an emphasis on activation and impacting society. Our vision is to see the Body of Christ inspired and equipped to be confident ministers of God's healing grace, and to energise the church to get out of the building!

Ministry

Ministry sessions throughout, plus impartation Friday afternoon

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong - Romans 1:11

Our vision is to see an 'army' of supernaturally gifted, confident Christians being empowered to minister to our world. There will be many opportunities for ministry during the conference both to receive and to minister, we see this as a vital part of activating the teaching and keeping it grounded in reality. Whilst we expect ministry to flow throughout all sessions of the conference we have set apart a special 'Impartation' session on Friday afternoon led by Bill and Mark, for personal equpping and empowering. Then… 'When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.' The evening session will begin with worship and end with prayer for the sick, an opportunity for all to step out in faith and learn how to apply the principles shared during the teaching sessions. Not to be missed!

Late night worship party

'Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. -2 Cor 3:17

Jesus liked to party! He brought freedom, joy and miracles to the parties of His day - and had fun! We are inviting you to party with us in the presence and glory of God, celebrating his goodness in all that he has done. Encounter the freedom and witness the healing power of worship using dj's, mc's and dance music . Finish the conference in style, revel in the Joy of the Lord, join us in the dance…

Special breakout sessions

Healing on the Streets

'Too many of us have been like a vacuum cleaner salesman who comes to the door and throws a handful of dirt in on the floor and says, "I represent the new Whiz Bang vacuum cleaner company. My vacuum cleaner is so strong that you have to remove pets and small children from the room. It sucks up everything in sight." But instead of demonstrating the vacuum cleaner he simply hands you a brochure (tract), promises that the machine will work, and walks away. That's cheating!' -Bill Johnson

Itching to show the world that Jesus is alive? Join us during the afternoon breakout session as we step out in faith on the streets of Bristol. We want to send out 40 Street Prayer Teams, to infiltrate the crowds and lead people into encounters with the Great Physician! Dominic Muir from NowBelieve, London will be on hand to guide, encourage and support you as you take this opportunity to get out on the streets and spread the love!

Bristol's Spiritual Heritage Tour

Bristol's Spiritual Heritage Tour

Ever thought about exploring the spiritual inheritance of your city? Learn how with Release 2010’s Open Top Bus Tour, exploring Bristol’s amazing spiritual history and investigating the legacies left by Bristol’s men and women of God from centuries past.

'Heritage is a collection of the achievements and traditions that have been passed down to our generation.' Isaac Newton famously noted on his discoveries in philosophy that 'If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants'. There are many giants of the Christian faith on whose shoulders we have the privilege of standing. How do we, alive for such a time as this, inherit their spiritual victories and see a little further? Exploring such heritage we can see how God has been writing His-story onto the canvas of Bristol through saints such as John and Charles Wesley, William Tyndale, George Muller, William Wilberforce and many others. Their victories are also our victories, and much is to be gained from revisiting our rich history. Could it be that we are sitting on a vast spiritual gold mine that is waiting to be uncovered, by us, today? Places for this breakout session are limited.
